True Blue

Is there anything more true blue Aussie than the beach and melting soft serve from the ice cream van and the smell of sun cream and the feeling of the sand under our feet... 

I've given myself the freedom to play and experiment in the studio and this has been an intensely satisfying excercise and a fresh new direction for my art. The interesting thing is that I am using the same tools, paint and colours with the results being so different yet still very familiar to my original style. These artworks are created with thick layers of paint and a palette knife.
